The Team & Engineering Mission
The Engineering team crafts high-performance, fault-tolerant software systems designed to scale cleanly across thousands of concurrent learners, mentors, and automated assessment workflows.
Role In-Depth
Join the platform engineering core powering the VarhaviX Mind Mapper assessment engine, LMS platform, and cohort telemetry. You will work on real production software from Day 1, pairing directly with senior engineers across modern Angular 22, Java 21 microservices, and Google Cloud Platform integrations.
This is not an internship where you get stuck doing synthetic toy tasks or updating spreadsheets. You will write code that gets merged into production and used by real founders and learners.
You will pair with experienced software architects to learn enterprise software design, clean coding standards, and cloud engineering best practices.
What You Will Build & Own
You will be trusted with end-to-end ownership from design specifications to production telemetry:
- Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces using Angular 22 (Zoneless, Signals, SCSS 7-1)
- Implement resilient Java 21 & Spring Boot 3 microservices with Virtual Threads and RFC 7807 error contracts
- Build and maintain clean domain DTO contracts adhering to the 3-pillar architectural model
- Write robust unit and integration tests ensuring zero-regression releases and 99.9% uptime
- Collaborate closely with product leaders and student founders to resolve real architectural bottlenecks
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Solid foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design
- Demonstrated experience with TypeScript, modern Angular or modern frontend frameworks, and Java/Spring or Node.js
- Familiarity with Git, REST API design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Clear written and verbal communication with an instinct to document decisions
Preferred / Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
- Active GitHub repository showcasing clean commits and modular architecture
- Understanding of Reactive Signals and Zoneless change detection in Angular
- Curiosity about virtual threads, containerization, and modern cloud deployment on GCP
