Role In-Depth

Join the core platform engineering team powering the VarhaviX Mind Mapper assessment engine, LMS platform, and cohort telemetry. You will architect, develop, and scale end-to-end full stack software systems using Java 21 Spring Boot 3 microservices with Virtual Threads, Angular 22 reactive signals, and automated Google Cloud Platform (GCP) deployments.

As a Full Stack Developer at VarhaviX, you will bridge the gap between high-performance reactive frontends and resilient cloud-native backend microservices.

You will work directly on mission-critical features: our real-time interactive assessment engines, student founder cap-table modeling tools, and high-frequency assessment telemetry.

We value deep craftsmanship: clean code, test-driven rigor, zero unnecessary abstractions, and strong API contracts that stand the test of time.

You will be trusted with end-to-end ownership from design specifications to production telemetry:

Architect and build reactive, zoneless web applications using Angular 22, TypeScript, Signals, and modular SCSS 7-1
Design and develop resilient Java 21 microservices using Spring Boot 3.3+, Spring Data JPA, and Virtual Threads (Project Loom)
Deploy and maintain containerized microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Cloud Run, GKE, and Docker
Build robust RESTful API contracts adhering to RFC 7807 problem details with comprehensive OpenAPI / Swagger documentation
Implement scalable caching and messaging with Redis and PostgreSQL relational database optimizations
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (JUnit 5, Mockito, Vitest / Jasmine) ensuring 99.9% platform uptime
Collaborate in an agile, zero-bureaucracy engineering culture with direct code reviews and architectural RFCs

Must-Have Qualifications:

2+ years of professional full-stack software development experience
Strong proficiency in modern Java (Java 17/21) and Spring Boot (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Security)
Strong proficiency in modern Angular (Angular 17-22), TypeScript, Signals, and responsive CSS/SCSS
Solid experience with Microservices Architecture, REST API design, and distributed systems fundamentals
Hands-on experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and query optimization
Experience working with Docker containerization and cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform or AWS)
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test-driven practices

Preferred / Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL)
Familiarity with Angular Zoneless change detection and modern Signal APIs
Experience with Virtual Threads, asynchronous programming, or event-driven architectures
Active open-source contributions or personal full-stack projects showcasing clean modular code
